Recommendation on a Waste Tote Tank

I just purchased the Rhino, 28 gallon tote. It has a hook to store on my ladder, but I'm concerned about the weight hanging on my ladder. Anybody use the ladder for storage?

I purchased the same size and had it on our ladder this summer for about 5,000 miles, including some pretty severe dirt roads. No issues at all. We did have a heck of a time lifting the full tank into the back of the truck though. A macerator pump would make the job much easier.
