I just bought my first RV and probably read too much about all the things that can go wrong.
Does anybody use slide out stabilizers? Does anybody experience slide out sag that impedes operation of the slide,
I have never used slide stabilizers. My slides pull up tight to the walls. I could imagine trailer rocking and the slide stabilizers putting a load on the walls. Not what I want to have happen.

They are a bad idea, and Lippert (the maker of the slides) specifically recommends against them. As the rig settles, they can start to lift the slide too much and cause them to come off the tracks.
Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, we have nothing to gain should you choose to purchase a product or engage a service we discuss on this forum.
