  • Class V hitch lock

So now that we have the F350; it came with a Class V hitch receiver. I purchased an adapter and am good to go! Buy my locking devices for the hitch no longer function. They are not long enough to make it through and I just installed a typical class V towing pin.

I have purchased these in the past - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But they are not long enough and at least one straight design that I can't find the link for that is also not long enough.

    Any suggestions for an upgrade?

This is what I bought (didn't have much choice...if you've read a recent thread you'll know why!): https://www.campingworld.com/curt-58...-trailer-locks

I drilled out the hole for the hitch pin to a larger diameter and then put a small padlock through it. I packed the key slot on the lock with grease. This way I have my adapter and a pin if I ever need them.
I am sure it wouldnt take a huge effort to pop the lock off but so much of theft is about opportunity and mine is just a little tougher than someone elses.
