Hi! We picked up a new Reflection 311BHS from Durango last week and drove it home to Tucson. 2020 GMC 2500 HD AT4 is the tow vehicle. Super rough ride, almost unbearable, and not any better driving around trying to get used to it. Lots of “chucking” (just learnt that one!). We have the Anderson ultimate 5th wheel hitch installed by the dealer. Anyone have any helpful hints as to how we can get a smooth ride before heading out to Florida in a few weeks?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

With the Anderson hitch there is nothing to chuck as chucking is the movement of the pin back and forth in the hitch head, so something must be very wrong with the Anderson set up. In addition any up and down movement (bucking) should be minimal as it locked in by the ball. Or do I have those terms reversed - anyway Anderson should not have either. I would find a dealer in Tucson to look at it. Possibly TucsonJim could recommend one. Did Tarply set you up with the hitch, or did you have it already? GD does not approve of that particular hitch - lots of threads on that. If Tarply did it you might want to give them a call. I would also give GD a call. I wonder if the installer properly torqued the hitch down and did a correct installation.
Last are you within your tow limit weights and how are your shocks. On other thing to try is fill the water tank and take a test run. I am assuming on your drive from the dealer you were empty and that may have been the issue.
Hope this helps
Keith
