So we are researching for a new TT and, of course, imagine 2400bh is on the top of our list...it is just perfect length, ergonomic, and looks amazing. We currently own a 21ft Forest River Wolf Pup, which is good, but kids are growing up, so there is not much space to move around in such a small camper without a slide out.
The problem is that I am not 100% sure regarding the hitch weight of the GD 2400bh. It is advertised to be 505lb which it sounds way too low. I understand that 2400bh has an aluminum frame and also that 505lb hitch weight is just an estimate for the basic standard configuration, but still....505lb is way too low for a 29ft TT.
So to all 2400bh owners out there....can you please help me here and provide some info regarding the actual hitch weight of your 2400bh? Btw I am towing with a Mercedes GL350 diesel, 7500lb towing capacity and 650lb hitch weight ( or 650lb+ when reinforced).
Thank you all in advance.
