Jim, did I miss something?? Did you loose your unit to a fire? Hopefully everyone is OK.
August 29th, 2016 Joseph - Since then, I've been doing a presentation on emergency preparedness at rallies. Scott'n'Wendy was mentioning it because I did the seminar last week in Quartzsite.

I am sure Jim will reply with the full story shortly but that was his old trailer, after leaving the National Rally several years ago I believe.

In the photo below, you'll see five gallons of gasoline, a full propane bottle, and a partially full water container. Not seen is a five gallon can of diesel fuel. When the fire broke out, these items were chained together in the back of my truck to prevent theft. I had so much adrenaline pumping, that I lifted all of them out while still chained together and ran with them to get away from the fire. So that was probably well over 100 pounds.

TucsonJim TucsonGinnie Wendy and I stopped by to say goodbye when we were leaving but couldn't find you. Thanks for your efforts and work during the rally. I learned a few things from your presentation. Including that "Not a smoke detector" in the bedroom of the trailer!

Just attended the quartzite rally. Meet lots of fun people. Including TucsonJim and Rudy .
The Moyers overcame very challenging weather to stage a great rally. First time to a rally and the gdrv community are a great bunch of people. The SRT's were run ragged though. They probably need assistants to field questions while they work on tsb's etc.
A good time was had. Would definitely recommend.
Working...
