It looks like someone seriously under estimated the amount of traffic possible. Or they didn’t update their algorithm to compensate.

From up here in Canada, paying with a cc, when the transaction is done through ppal, has always been a problem for me. Usually have to call the merchant and do manually.

Here's an email from Pam & Red regarding Eventbrite tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. EDT and signing up for the Rally excursions:

Ok friends, here is the scoop for what we are calling:



Take 2 – Golf Carts, Tours, and Extra Adult Tickets (needed if you have extra adults staying in your rig)



There are a limited number of each available.

Once they are bought, that’s it. There will be no “Waitlists”.



There will be plenty of FREE transportation available from Sunday noon to Friday evening. Monday through Friday hours: 7AM to 7PM – Watch for the 6 six-seater golf shuttles (we call them “Gubers”) running throughout the grounds.



During on-site check-in if there are any available tours due to cancellations etc., they will be posted on a bulletin board near the “Rally Host” table.

Please remember the following when registering:



1. Pop-ups are controlled by you and your computer. If they were a problem before, I would expect them to be a problem again. If it was me, I would have them turned off. If you do not know how to do this, Ask “Google”.



2. As far as payment goes, Eventbrite DOES take you to the PayPal platform. You can check out as a Guest in the PayPal system. You are not required to have a PayPal account. As a guest, you manually enter your payment and billing information



3. The link/registration is not going to be open for long, as we anticipate everything open will sell quickly.

We also have spots available for;

21 left for the Gilmore Auto museum.

29 left for the Blue Gate Theater.

5 left for the motorcycle ride with McCarthy.

Golf tickets available on Eventbrite down to 16. This promises to be a nice outing, bigger than I had anticipated. We're looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to play. Again if you golf and are going to be checking in to the Rally over the weekend consider bringing your clubs and joining us at Meadow Valley Golf Club on Monday, Aug 30th.

Quick update, we're down to 14 golf tickets. I knew it would slow down after the initial Rally signups, so if you're on the fence about golfing don't wait too long.
Message to those who specifically signed up on June 8, You ARE Signed Up but the extra information regarding your handicap or average score, tee shirt sizes, and possible playing partners never made it to Rally Central. I'll be sending out an email to the handful of those affected. Thanks again for making this initial endeavor a success.

TNFSolitude My golf handicap is me. The only way that I can hit a golf ball is with a nice scope out to about 350 meters.

One last update, we're down to only 14 golf tickets available. I knew it would slow down after the initial Rally signups, so if you're on the fence about golfing you only have until the 11th to sign up. Thanks again for making this inaugural golf outing a success.

3 teams shot a 7 under par 65. Using a tie breaker system from the club pro we have the team of: Kyle Burnett, Don Allemon, and Mike Wilde as the winning team.

Congratulations to them and thank you to all the participants. From the feedback we've received it seems everyone had a good time.
