Found the issue on the generator not putting out any electricity. The circuit breaker on the generator was in the 'off' position. It is located in a hidden spot, almost totally covered up by wiring. Had to use a flashlight to read the switch position.
That is great. Would you please post a picture of the switch and location to pass on to others.
It is a 2020-2021 Momentum 21G. It has a 1000 watt inverter and 4000 watt Onan/Cummins generator.
What do you mean by fill out a signature?
If you add your unit and TV information - it helps us. Also put you vin in your profile information. It helps GD in case they need to help you on something.

The Momentum had an inverter and solar when we purchased it new. Just now getting a chance to use it. Evidently there are only a few 120 circuits that the inverter will supply the 120 voltage to. I turned off the inverter and started the generator but have no indication of 120 volt power? What am I missing?
Everything runs fine on shore power but we are interested in non hook up camping.
Which Momentum do you have?

Aren't some inverters autoswitching? If it senses 120 source input it passes that 120 through. Like an auto transfer switch.
With an onboard generator there should be an auto transfer switch.
Thats right, some are, not sure if the factory is, or if the inverter just runs those circuits off the inverter all the time (ie they are never on shore power and the converter just keeps up with the battery use when on shore power).
Question: Does the 12volt to 120 volt inverter need to be off when running the Onan generator?
I am assuming you are referring to the factory inverter. Do you have the factory solar or just the inverter to run the fridge in the Solitudes? Generator is no different than shore power, so if you do not need to turn it off when plugging in to shore power you should not need to for the generator either.
Probably Otherwise you have two competing sources of 120V. An expert in this will be along shortly to give a better answer. Same would apply if your on shore power.Do you turn it off then?
Hope this helps
Keith
No expert here either - but, generally, there would be a transfer switch (auto or manual) for the AC source? In your case, perhaps a 3-way switch (shore, generator, inverter)? Just speculating... as Yoda noted, someone with more knowledge will be along.
