New XPS Only has USB-C ports - need to connect to my Victron Connect cable

OK Technology has passed me by.

My new XPS showed up and is has 4 Thunderbolt™ 4 (USB Type-C™) with DisplayPort and Power Delivery - whatever that means. Included with it was a USB c to HSB and what looks like an HDMI port. I also have a USB C to multiple SD card adapter.
What di I need to connect my Victron cable too its a standard (well I call it standard) usb plug. Computer also has no either net cable port.
So do I need an assortment of adapters?

BTW the XPS came with no instructions, just a card showing the port locations and power button but I figured most things out. Still looking for how to increase the icon size. It's running Windows 11 pro.

Thanks Howard I read the same. Getting a few thing ordered that might come in handy. Would have been nice if Dell explained what was needed better. I found out local prices are 4x what Amazon cost is and Walmart is out of stock and has no idea when things might get here.. My new track ball mouse came withe the standard USB wireless receiver cube. You would think they would include the USB C adapter, but no, I need an adapter even to charge it.

I have and like the https://www.logitech.com/en-us/produ...10-005178.html with the best buy option of the extra 10 degrees (back when I bought it that was the only way to get the extra tilt).

Don't plan on going back to the others any time soon, and a regular mouse is just out of the question as I hate picking up my hand to be able to cross the 3 screens.

I have been a trackball fan from when they first came out - I was the first at CDOT to get carpal tunnel in the elbow from moving a mouse around drafting in the late 80's.. Boy were the bosses ****** when they had to buy me one based on the doctor's recommendations....good thing I have a strong thumb I have used one ever sense. Strange the limited instruction did not cover the Bluetooth, and I need to figure out how to set it up on the new computer...I think It has it. More fun tomorrow. Thanks for the hint on saving the USB C port use.

I also ordered a Logetic key board https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that can be paired with the mouse - should be fun setting that up Why? the lapto keyboard is OK - I just fine it clumbsy.

You might want to try this:
Pair Logitech mouse to iPad using Bluetooth


To pair your mouse to iPad, do the following:

1. Turn your mouse ON.
   The LED should start blinking fast. If it doesn't, perform a long press on the Easy-Switch button on the mouse.
2. Open the iPad Settings and tap Bluetooth settings.
3. Choose your mouse in the list of Devices.

I have found that the Logitech included instructions are not always the best. Sometimes you can get online and find better ones even on their website.
BTW the "easy button" is the one that swaps devices.

Also I have several USB-C to Micro USB adapters. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and choose to carry one of those with the various cables vs carrying the extra cable (also give option to use USB-C to USB-C cable or USB to USB-C cable to charge the mouse and keyboard.

Its unavailable but they probably have something newer now. Nice thing is as Jim says, with PD it charges as well so at home its the only cable I hookup, and it fires up my keyboard and trackpad, hardwired ethernet, dual external displays and power.
