We're very disappointed, as are the people that have attended the past two tournaments and intended to play again this year.
Although there is not a sanctioned, official Rally golf outing this year there will be golf. For the past 2 years the golf outing was held as a pre-Rally event. Due to the change in the Rally start date this could not be accomplished and the organizers dropped the golf tournament from the calendar. That doesn't mean we can't go golfing on our own and so I've been in contact with the manager of Meadow Valley Golf Club and have secured a bloc of tee times for Tuesday, Aug 29th starting at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $35 for 18 holes with cart. This is not going to be a scrambles format or shotgun start as previous years. As golfers arrive we'll make up foursomes and send them out.
We've put this notice out on Facebook and already had quite a few people contact my wife to reserve a spot. Be advised that by golfing you may miss out on a seminar or other excursion. Let us know if you're interested and we'll add you to the list. If you cannot make the Tuesday date the golf course will honor the $35 cost all week for Rally attendees.
It'll be good to see everyone again and maybe a few new golfers as well.

A BIG word of thanks to the Moderators and their rally presentations. I learned a lot and had a good time. Even SWMBO had a good time. The Tuesday evening gathering was great too. Hopefully the others here will get a chance to meet them. What a bunch of great guys and their wives. They made us feel welcome and a part of the family. Neil got my Topeka sensors to show on the Multiplus. I still don't understand fully what he did, bit it works.

Tonight is our first night with internet sense we started this trip, sitting just north of Louisville at the Sellersburg KOA (nice place) but bit expensive at $76, but what we need for tonight. I did catch a tire going flat a rest area north of Columbus. Used the tire changing wedge which made quick work of the change with my impact gun, but I did mess my back up. I will get it fixed tomorrow morning (nail in tire). Indianapolis traffic was nuts.

Now on to Atlanta - what fun will that be

Catching a tire going flat at a rest area is an amazing piece of luck !! (I have changed a trailer tire on the side of the road in the middle of Atlanta)

BTW . . . speaking of Atlanta . . . stay on the center I75. The 18 wheelers now have to take the bypasses. Leaves a lot more room for us through the center.

Yoda Glad to have done it, keep us posted on how it goes. Hope the rest of your trip goes well. Was great to meet you and your wife!

It was good seeing everyone again. The owner-to-owner session was a great idea, keep that on the schedule in future years. My Schwintek slide has closed flawlessly twice now. Lippert never did come out to inspect it. When I went to the Service Desk the woman said "oh, it's a 2014. We won't be coming out." She did say if it gave us a problem on Fri morning there would still be plenty of techs on site to help us. Fortunately we didn't need assistance. But like one of the moderators said last Thurs, "I've never had an RV problem go away by itself"
We're set up in Memphis KOA for 5 nights. I'll say hi to Elvis for you if I run into him.

I took the West Alanta bypass Sunday about 10AM. Went smooth except for the bridge construction area. And here I always thought Dallas drivers were Nuts Saw the daughter in Georgia, now in Mississippi with Carols folks. DEF problem was not a stuck gauge, just frugal use in the flat country. Flat was a large nail at a sharp angle. Stopped at a BIg-O and got it repaired - took them two try's as one plug with inside patch leaked the first time. Second plug with larger inside patch worked, but I am not 100% sure of the repair, so it will be the second spare. New breaks now work too well. Gain is now at 6 down from 8 (Medium effort). Still have one tire on drivers side locking up randomly. Not sure which yet. Truck is running flawlessly. Fuel mileage interstate is 10 (75mph) side roads at 55, 13. solo 22.

Had a big issue with Fridge after Dometic technician modified the top baffle at the Rally - supposedly to help - NOT! Ill post on what I did to solve it separately.

                Question
Who would I ask about how many trailers of a particular model attended the rally? I wondered through most of the other areas - actually had one of the ubers take me on a tour and don't believe there was another 220RK there. It would be interesting to know the stats on what everyone had.

BTW we had one of the best areas to be in by far from what I saw - Bee's included

                Just curious
                Keith

PS thanks again for all the help and friendship. Even SWMBO had a pretty good time Neil the propane level sensors are working great.

Turns out I had the only 220RK there. I have an xls file from Bob I can share with the moderators. Do any of the moderators want a copy?

How did you get the file?

I just read thru it and wanted to let you know you had the only 220RK there but you beat me to it.

I did the survey that Bob sent out (his email was at the bottom) and sent him an email - got the file within 30 minutes. He said I could post screen shots when I asked if I could share. (don't know how from .xls ) and share the file with you moderators.. Ill just file it for future reference if you have it already.. It is an interesting read on the models there.
