Now that I have upgraded trucks....
Old Pullrite Superglide does not fit the new spacing (thanks GM for changing that).
I really like that I can reach to unlatch the Pullrite head even able to reach the area where I put the break Away as the lock.
On others such as the B&W how hard is it to reach the lock on the latch from the ground without climbing into the bed?
Also, on say the B&W with the Jaws, does the handle swing toward the side as you back in? Does it auto latch the king pin (kinda spoiled by listening to the Pullrite system sliding into position)?
How is the Head retained on the B&W onto the 2 plastic looking pivot points? I see the pin, but not a lot of information on what actually retains it.
I will probably have more questions as answers are posted, so please be patient with my level of inquisitiveness.
Also, has anyone seen or owned one of these things? https://www.blueox.com/product/bxr2410/
I do like the B&W head as a design with the way the load is transmitted to the pivot points. I also think it's lighter than the Pullrite (approx 100 lbs without the head).
