Got my answer from GD. Have to say, not surprised at all.
"Unfortunately either way the air ride suspension is an aftermarket product when it comes to your Solitude. It will not automatically void your warranty. However if an issue were to occur that is directly related to this aftermarket product on your tow vehicle, that repair typically would not be covered under warranty."
I take that as if a person makes a structural warranty claim GD will find a reason that it is the customer's fault. This is consistent to what people are talking about via social media.
In case folks are wondering, no I currently don't have airbags. Yes I am within specs. Just weighed it and the truck today after bringing the RV home from the dealership. It was in the dealership getting some warranty work. My rig has been on 1 trip since purchase. It was a 3 hour ride from my house to stay a Henry Horton state park in TN, specifically for a shake down trip prior to putting it up for the winter before a busy spring/summer with it. The front basement door hinge broke and the filon area next to the box on the passenger side was loose and coming down.
Don't those two problems sound familiar to others who hare experiencing frame problems. Not saying I am having frame problems but it makes me take pause. When requesting the warranty fixes, I didn't even say anything about those items being related to a structural problem. I just presented them as 2 broken items.
My new hashtag is going to be #shouldofboughtabrinkley. I will definitely find out how the RV is by the end of AUG, 9 states starting May.

For your specific question regarding truck air bags, IMO it is extremely unlikely they will be a warranty factor. A modification to the trailer's suspension or pin box (to an unapproved setup)...that is not be a path I'd go down if I owned a 5th wheel.
As a friendly reminder (I see you are relatively new), the moderators here are all owners just like yourself so this post is my opinion (based on experience).

An alternative suspension (used by GD) is the MORryde IS, which is now a bolt-on system. The moderators saw this IS last week. It's an amazing advancement for a number of reasons. First, no more cutting off hangers or welding on the frame. Second, assuming the rating is the same, an owner could conceivably transfer an IS from one trailer to another so no need to repurchase. Just swap suspensions. Pretty awesome IMHO. More info available here: https://www.morryde.com/products/ind...ension-system/
FYI I have the "old" IS version (welded) on my 315RLTS. I'd absolutely, 100% buy the system again if I buy another trailer.
