B&W RVK3305 - best place to get it from?

    B&W RVK3305 - best place to get it from?

    I waited to long and the good sales are gone (Black Friday), unless they are unadvertised. B&W has a set advertised price of $1325 on the RVK3305 (fits Ford Puck system). Most places offer free shipping, but charge sales tax and they even get that wrong. I was offered a price of $1275 back during the holidays, but have not checked to see if it is still good,

    So I thought I would ask if anyone has found any secrete deals or good coupons. With fuel prices going nuts, I thought I would go ahead and order before shipping surcharges show up as they already have at some places.

    PS: I know Rob Cate&Rob and Howard howson now that he is over is CRS , are probably wondering why as I was looking into the adapter and indicated I would wait until the truck got here. Production date is next week. Over the weekend I mocked up the hitch and adapter. Unfortunately on the lowest setting and sitting on the mock up of the adapter the hitch will not fit under the Retrax cover when not in use. This is important to me. Plus I am still concerned on the overall strength of some of the adapters, especially in an accident.


    Edit - I just jinks myself. Production date is now back another week, Now the week of March 14

    I checked pplmotorhomes which has offered good prices before but they are over $2K on that hitch. $1325 may be a very good deal right now.


    I never liked adapters...seemed to be just another potential failure point IMO.

              I just ordered my B&W hitch from these folks. After confirming the site was real and had good reviews, I decided to go ahead and get it ordered before shipping went through the roof. Ordered about 10 AM mountain time and got notified the item had shipped.at about 4PM. I got $50 off the $1325 price with free shilling and no sales tax (another $65 savings). They charge sales tax only in Florida. I am finding it pays to send emails to get deals. Never hurts to ask.

              This is the best price I could find. Contact George https://partshawk.com/ They do respond to emails and honer thier price quotes even after several months.

              Another item off the list for the new truck.

                Hitch arrived today (ordered Monday) Was shipped from Denver, not Florida. Base box was badly beat up by FedX (all straps broken and flimsy cellophane tape used) and driver just dumped it in the drive in the snow. If it had not been for Emma barking I would not have known truck was here. I called B&W (call immediately answered) and verified everything was there. No damage to base I can tell. Its now in the barn waiting on the truck. Parts haw folks are OK++ in my book.
