I mounted this level to my inbox. I can see it from the cab and can watch it to get near level, side to side, before unhitching. Each mark represents 1 1/2 inch off level at the wheel.

In particular, the last two trips have resulted in the leveling jacks raising all three tires on one side off of the ground (next to last trip) and raising two of the three tires on one side off the ground (last trip). My next question is operational. In both of these instances, the pad looked level prior to pulling in. Since I detach my tow vehicle before leveling the fiver, how do I put the leveling bricks under tires that are lifted off of the ground without raising the landing gear and reattaching the tow vehicle to shift the fiver?
We check the display on the levelers for side to side level once we are on the site before unhooking. If it’s off by more than “1” (I think it’s degrees but I’m honestly not sure of the units) then we use blocks to get it within one, then unhook, and then auto level.

I use the same as TedS. Put blocking under the tires to get as close to level as I can then unhitch and auto level, don't forget wheel chocks.

I have "cheap" stick on level on the rear of the camper and use them to get between the lines.

Similar to https://www.amazon.com/Bubble-Level-...zcF9tdGY&psc=1 then when auto leveling, it leaves the tires on the ground.

Our son gave us LevelMate Pro for a Christmas gift the year we ordered. It allows me to use the app on my phone before disconnecting to get as level as possible. We've found in many sites a couple of inches North/South or East/West can make a big difference on approximate level before disconnecting. My goal is to get under 2" side-to-side if at all possible. If I can't I'll pull the low side tires up on blocks before disconnecting and leveling.

Kinda funny how many people get their rigs level before hitting Autolevel. I think the Autolevel system is mis named, it should be called the already level confirmation system. When I first got my trailer I ended up with wheels off the ground or almost off the ground more often than not 'yes I did do the zero point reset' so now I usually do not use Autolevel because the pre Autolevel and the post Autolevel have always been very, very close. I do use the bricks under the tires if needed and always use them under the jack pads.

On our first trip, the Dayton KOA put us on the side of a hill. DW yelled the wheels are off the ground during auto-level!!!. So I hooked up again and rolled on to the Anderson blocks. Even that wasn't enough to not lift the wheels off on door side. That's when I called the office and said I wanted another site. Scared the heck out of me though. Now I'm a bit wiser.

I generally accept the "tires off the ground on auto level" scenario, especially if staying only one or two nights. Not worth the reposition hassel to me.

I consider this to mean one or any combination of tires off the ground. The jack mounting brackets and jack tubes are a bit thin when you consider the side loading conditions that can occur.

The jacks are more robust than some people give them credit for and not as robust as some may think they are. The fronts are designed to lift and support the trailer from the TV while the rears (and mid on 6 jack systems) are designed to "stabilize" and provide additional frame support.

The rear legs are bolted with 6 gr8 capscrews to a substantial bracket welded to the chassis beam.

Make me glad I have in a simpler unit without Auto dis-level.. I have these https://www.beech-lane.com/camper-levelers. So far they have worked well?
