I have been reading and searching the interwebs for some time for answers to a few questions concerning wiring up from 1) batteries to converter 2) wiring from inverter to WF-8900 series panel and installing transfer switch to inverter.
1) I have never seen pictures or detailed instructions on getting the heavy positive and negative wires from the tongue mounted batteries into the front passthrough. I sure could use some help there.
2) Running 30AMP capable romex wire from inverter to power panel which resides next to the entrance door about half way back on the trailer, about 15 feet from where I plan to install the inverter in the wall of the passthrough.
3) WF makes a transfer switch report-ably to enable a transfer from shore power to gen power that mounts behind the power panel. ( it has a 30 second delay once power is applied before it switches from shore to gen) I don't need the gen part, I would like to use the gen connection from the inverter. Am I correct in assuming I can safely substitute the gen in power connection and have that power connection come from the inverter?
Anything else I'm missing or haven't thought of yet?
I plane to try and get all this worked out and installed then install the panels on the roof. I've snaked a pull string from the bedroom vent to the very small but workable gap in the top storage area and those wires will be run down the closet and into the passthrough.
