    Attending 2023 National Owners Rally?


    Are you going to the 2023 Grand Design National Owners Rally/

    Would you like to help the Seminar Team?

    Your Moderator Team handles all things Seminar related at the National Owners Rally. Our specialty is the OTO Seminars or Owner to Owner. This is what this Forum was built on, owners helping other owners. At the 2021 Rally the first OTO Seminars were presented and was a big hit with the attendees, they appreciated hearing and getting first hand knowledge from other owners. You will find the OTO Seminar related material here, most of this is used year after year and updated when needed. So if you are planning on attending and would like to help out please reach out to one of us. If you have attended the National Owners Rally before and have ideas on new topics please let us know those as well.

    Also new this year will be a "Tech Corner" or "Owner Education Center". This will be hands on related to allow owners to learn techniques hands on style.

    We would also like to have a "Forum Member Get Together", if you would like to meet the Moderator Team and other Forum members we could set up a meeting.

    Please reach out to one of your local Moderators.

    This sounds Fantastic - maybe I can learn something. As many of you know I can teach "How not to do it" but willing to help if I can. I plan to bring all my tools, including my crimping set if there is interest in proper cable crimping, Not an expert by any means.

      A forum member get together is a great idea.

          Jealousy factor of those of you that can make it to the rally is huge! Hopefully one year we can make our way there. No appetite for a virtual component to the member meeting?

            I am interested in the forum member get together.
            I have been a moderator in a past life (another manufacturer) and understand the value this group of moderators brings. It would be wonderful to meet them and thank them in person.

              I know there wont be T-shirts for the Rally, but could we do t-shirts (forum LOGO) for this group with our user names printed somehow? Of course I would be willing to pay. I know - go back to my corner

                I was talking to my wife about something similar, they used to note your social media you were on and user name on the badges but had gotten away from this. I wonder about some way to identify ourselves.
                Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, we have nothing to gain should you choose to purchase a product or engage a service we discuss on this forum.​

                        "Back in the day" (when National Rallies were much smaller) I created all the nametags. That's when they were two sided and had more info like forum name.
                        I like the idea of some way to identify forum members . . . maybe a ball cap with a logo ?
