    Hey Yoda
Here's a video of cool Ford things you can do from KYD, sorta to whet your appetite while you wait. One of the things he talks about is turning on Manual Def Regen so he can trigger it manually when he has a long stretch of road ahead.

    There's a blog post too:

Ours was built Feb 2nd, but likely sat somewhere in Kansas City area for a month waiting for some final component. The status just showed something like "we are doing final checks blah, blah". The guys in the truck forums discuss the seemingly unpredictable delays a bit. The world's supply chain is a real mess. It apparently largely comes down to what options a given vehicle has, not a strict first in, first out with regard to orders. Has the window sticker been issued yet?
Thanks Alex Yep I am aware for some of the parts shortages like the 5th wheel prep package and others. I need to check on the window sticker - not quiet sure where to get it. I remember something on the blue oval forum though.

Keith, if click on the link in the email you received. Once the web page loads and populates with your order number and vin number you can click further. When the status page comes up, if the vin is available you should see a link on the lower left of the page for it. Good luck!

Thanks Alex. I have the vin , but per FORD I have no window sticker yet. The wait goes on. Now I have that song stuck in my head - need coffee.

            Hey Keith
Ford has a webpage / web service where you can get the PDF window sticker for a given VIN. The URL is

www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=<insert vin here without the brackets>

This should return a pdf download. I've only used this when searching trucks that had already been built, not sure if it works for units at the factory, so YMMV.

The window sticker has not yet been
              released for this vehicle.

This is another link to get one too.

There is a rumor they are updating the 475HP to 485HP and the 1050 torque to 1100 for 2023. But I am not holding my breath I can remember that back in the late 60's, early 70's only the super muscle cars had that kind of HP.

                  We shall see

LOL! I don't think that you are going to be able to tell the difference between 1050 lb-ft and 1100 lb-ft . Traction control takes over long before that !!

I have spent a considerable amount of time sideways on the racetrack in powerful cars with half that amount of torque. I can't imagine turning off the traction control and hitting the throttle in a pickup truck with that kind of torque . . . OK . . . maybe I will try this (in a straight line) and report back .

My 2020 has enough power and doesn't need more. It's almost useless on a snowy day, even with 4x4.

Any aggressive start on dry pavement will chirp the rear tires. There's not enough weight back there for more torque. Be good for tire sales.

The fun memories we all have. I used to autocross with a sports club. I had an IH Scoutt II - and was classed with the Porsche 914's (wheelbase I think) needles to say I did not win anything The president had a real 427 cobra - it had seen better days, but OMG the sound and vibration from that beast - he almost always won. I think he invented drifting - just kidding. Oh I forgot I split the rear differential on the Scout on my last outing (big pylon course on a Cat plant parking lot)- got it on 2 wheels with the 304 would out and when she came down - crunch Dad was not happy. Then one day my uncle called him Hot Rod Norman and the truth came out. I was a chip of the old block

I just hope the production date holds. On the upside winter will almost be over before I get it. And I was kidding on needing more power. Remember my 04 had 325 HP and I think 475 torque, So I will need to relearn a few things. I did discover the electric locker is governed to slow speeds (below 45 unless in low range) if I read the manual correctly. New hitch should be here Thursday unless delayed by the next snow storm. Now I need to read up on the traction control - don't remember seeing it in the manual.

                            Thanks for the memories.

My 2018 HO Cummins will not burn up the tires from a standstill. It has this 'torque management' programming that prevents it most of the time.
Do the Fords have something similar?

I was trying to find the reference yesterday on this topic. Anecdotally I read (or watched a video) somewhere that torque is limited in first and second gear (my '17 has a six gear tranny). 100% of available torque after shifting to third. How (or if) the torque is affected when in Tow/Haul mode--don't know.
